The SoundLink™ Bluetooth Mobile speaker II works wirelessly with Apple, Android™ and BlackBerry® devices, or your tablet or laptop—and goes wherever you do for music when you want, where you want.
Pair and play
Just pair the speaker and your Bluetooth device. It's easy—and you only need to do it once. Simply press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker's top panel, and then choose the SoundLink™ Mobile speaker II from your smartphone or other source. It's now memorized, ready to play in an instant. Nothing to physically connect or dock. And the speaker keeps up to six Bluetooth sources in memory.

Play throughout your day
The rechargeable lithium-ion battery keeps the music going strong for up to eight hours, even while you text, email or surf the web. The enhanced status light changes from green to yellow to red to give you a clear indication of battery life. If an outlet is nearby, just use the included power adapter—it'll charge the battery while you listen. An empty battery usually charges in two to three hours. An optional car charger is available for charging between destinations.

How do I control the speaker?
Power and volume controls are located on the speaker itself. Otherwise, use your smartphone or other paired device to select a playlist, streaming audio source, etc. No remote control necessary.
What is the wireless range of the SoundLink™ Mobile speaker II?
On average, the speaker will work within 10 meters of your paired Bluetooth device. Walls and construction materials can affect reception at times.
Can I stream music (Pandora, Rhapsody, etc.) from my computer to the SoundLink™ Mobile speaker II?
Yes, as long as your computer is enabled for Bluetooth and is within 10 meters of the speaker.
If I'm using my smartphone with the SoundLink™ Mobile speaker II, will phone calls play through the speaker?
No. A phone call interrupts your audio source and plays through your phone only. When the call ends, your music automatically resumes through the SoundLink™ Mobile speaker II.
What is the playing/charging time of the lithium-ion battery?
A fully charged battery gives you up to eight hours of continuous playing time in most situations. An empty battery usually takes two to three hours to charge. The battery light shows green when the battery is fully charged. Yellow indicates a charge between 60 and 99 percent. And red means the battery is less than 60 percent charged.
Can I use the SoundLink™ Mobile speaker II as part of my home wireless network?
No, the SoundLink™ Mobile speaker II works only with the Bluetooth wireless protocol.
