Presets
Select a ToneMatch preset and tap into a powerful new technology available only from Bose. Skilled studio engineers listened to a wide range of popular instruments playing through an L1 system, made adjustments to optimize sound quality—then saved those settings in a large library of ToneMatch presets.
Each preset is custom-engineered for a specific instrument or microphone, sometimes with the help of the instrument makers themselves. The result is tone quality that brings out the true sound of your voice or instrument.
zEQ
Proprietary zEQ tone controls let you make further adjustments after selecting your ToneMatch preset. Ordinary tone controls are generic by design, with "High," "Mid," and "Low" controls spread out across the entire musical spectrum. But with the touch of a button, Bose zEQ automatically shifts the range of these controls to correspond directly to the range of your instrument. This innovative technology gives you more precise tone control, so it's easier to fine-tune your sound.
ToneMatch presets and zEQ are included in the T1 ToneMatch audio engine, designed for use with L1 Model I and Model II systems. The Model I system also has ToneMatch presets built into its power stand (for input channels 1 and 2).
