VideoWave® Entertainment System
A new way to look at–and listen to–home theatre.

The VideoWave system merges sound and picture like never before, delivering cinematic performance from invisible speakers built into an HD display. But this integrated system also offers more, eliminating a roomful of speakers, wires and complexity. And notable advances make this our easiest system ever.
Home theatre performance. No speakers in sight.

Deep effects and low notes
Our award-winning waveguide technology is built directly into the video display, delivering resounding low notes and dramatic sound effects. Unmistakable impact, with no extra speaker or subwoofer needed.

Wide, spacious soundstage
You'll hear acoustic detail well beyond the screen, with our PhaseGuide™ and array technologies.

Consistent sound throughout your room
Place your system wherever you wish. Our ADAPTiQ® audio calibration system ensures the best sound possible for your room; it recognises room size, shape, even furniture, and automatically adjusts the sound.
Unmatched simplicity

Single-system ease
The VideoWave system simplifies home entertainment by putting everything in one place.
The innovative built-in sound technologies mean there are no speakers to painstakingly wire and position. Your sources—Blu-ray player, cable box, video game system-all connect to one console, which can be hidden away.
Plus, you'll control it all, from your DVR to your iPod, with a single remote. It's all part of our Unify™ intelligent integration system, designed to make home theatre easier today, and when adding sources in the future.
Video + Audio Integration

1080p HD picture and Bose sound. Together.
The vibrant visuals of a 46" HD screen with the excitement of Bose home theatre audio. It's an elegant fusion, a single system and it eliminates the need to wire or place speakers.
A new world of control

The click pad remote
Controlling a home entertainment system has never been this graceful—or simple. Its few buttons control things you do most, like adjusting volume or changing channels. Everything else is as easy as touch, glide, click.
Just touch the pad with your thumb, glide around and click to make a selection. Anything you can control appears right on your HD screen, displayed alongside whatever you're watching. You'll never have to look away from the screen or fumble around for a button.

FAQs
What is the VideoWave system warranty period?
The VideoWave entertainment system is backed by a limited one-year warranty.
Does the VideoWave system support high-definition audio found on Blu-ray Disc™ media?
Yes, this system can decode both Dolby TruHD and uncompressed multi-channel PCM.
Will the VideoWave system upscale standard definition content?
Yes, the VideoWave entertainment system is fully HD-compatible and can upscale signals up to 1080p.
Can I enjoy video content from my iPod?
The system is "Made for iPod"—certified and works with most iPod and iPhone models featuring a click wheel. Also plays video content from your iPod on your HDTV.
Can I connect my networked media device (e.g., AppleTV) to the VideoWave system?
Yes. There are many third-party devices that allow you to connect to a computer or the Internet to listen to music or watch video content. Devices like Roku, AppleTV and other digital media servers can be seamlessly integrated with the VideoWave entertainment system like all other audio and video devices.
What is the optimal placement for the VideoWave system?
To ensure optimal audio performance, the VideoWave entertainment system should be placed along a wall so that the side walls are at equal distances from the monitor. The monitor should not be placed inside a cabinet because it would result in a narrower sound stage that is only as wide as the cabinet.
See more details »Can I wall mount the VideoWave system over my fireplace?
Like all LCD screens, the VideoWave system should not be installed over any source of heat, including fireplaces and wood or pellet stoves. Whether you opt for wall-mounting or simply placing the system on an entertainment unit, your Bose Service Provider will work with you to help find the ideal location.
How do I know the VideoWave system will remain up to date and work with future sources and devices?
The VideoWave entertainment system contains a database of remote control codes that can be updated using a computer connected to the Internet. If the system is unable to identify a particular device remote, it will guide you through a software update process to help you find it by providing the latest available information.
What sources can I connect to my VideoWave system?
You can connect a variety of HD video and music sources, such as a Blu-ray Disc™ player, DVD player, cable box, gaming system, Apple TV, Roku player and many more. If it has HDMI or analog connectors, this system can integrate it to give you a great audio-visual experience. The VideoWave system is designed to be flexible—with 6 HD inputs and a remote code database that can be updated—so you can connect most any source you want, now and in the future.
Do I need a separate receiver with my VideoWave system?
No, you do not need a receiver with the VideoWave entertainment system. The control console houses all connections for your sources and lets you manage them with ease. If you want AM/FM radio, you will need to connect a tuner to the control console.
