Applications for the Characterization of Engineered Materials

This webinar is particularly organized for researchers involved in materials testing. Bose has introduced test instruments for high-force dynamic mechanical analysis. The instruments are well suited for the characterization of a variety of materials in a temperature controlled chamber. The ElectroForce test instruments provide fatigue testing and characterization of a variety of specimens in tension, compression or bending. These instruments can be used in axial or even multi-axial configurations to provide fatigue data.

Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering

This webinar is particularly organized for researchers involved in biomedical testing and tissue engineering. Bose has introduced a new multi-axial test instrument to provide characterization of biomaterials and tissues in a biological environment. The ElectroForce BioDynamic test instrument provides conditioning and characterization of a variety of specimens, including biomaterials, acellular and cell-seeded scaffolds, native tissue samples and tissue-engineered constructs. Since the BioDynamic test instrument can be used to simulate in vivo conditions for the culture and testing of three-dimensional samples, it can be a valuable tool to bridge the gap between basic in vitro exploratory studies in culture dishes and in vivo animal experiments.
