Changing media center aspect ratio

To change the TV aspect ratio, follow these steps:

Note: This function is not available on media centers with a VS-2 video enhancer connected. If you have a VS-2 video enhancer connected to your media center, see Setting the Widescreen TV setting on systems with the VS-2 video enhancer. If not, follow these steps:

If a widescreen TV is being used, the TV aspect ratio should be set to "Yes." If a standard TV is being used, the TV aspect ratio should be set to "No."

1. Make sure the TV is on with the correct input selected

2. On the remote, press System

3. Press the Right arrow to highlight the "Video" icon and press ENTER

4. Press the Down arrow to select "Widescreen TV" and press ENTER

5. Press the Up arrow or Down arrow on the remote to select the appropriate item:

   • No: Tells the Lifestyle® system it is connected to a 4:3 TV

   • Yes: Tells the Lifestyle® system it is connected to a 16:9 (widescreen) TV

6. Press Exit to leave the menu
