Setting the Widescreen TV setting on systems with the VS-2 video enhancer

The Widescreen TV setting is used simply to let the system know what style of TV it is connected to so it can send the proper signal to the TV. If the TV is 16:9 then it would need to be set to "Yes," and if it is a 4:3 then it would be set to "No."

Be sure the TV is on with the correct input selected

1. On the remote, press System

2. Press the Right arrow to highlight the "Video" icon

3. Press the Down arrow to highlight "Widescreen TV"

4. Press the Right arrow to highlight the setting

5. Press the Up arrow or Down arrow on the remote to select the appropriate item:

   • No: Tells the Lifestyle® system it is connected to a 4:3 TV

   • Yes: Tells the Lifestyle® system it is connected to a 16:9 (widescreen) TV

6. Press Exit to save the settings and leave the menu
