Although it varies by usage, battery life averages 35 hours. The battery light indicator starts flashing when there are approximately five hours of battery life remaining.
When a replacement is needed, use one AAA alkaline battery (IEC LR03).
Note: Remaining battery life may vary when using rechargeable batteries. NiMH batteries, composed of nickel metal hydride, are recommended.
