Battery replacement (video included)

Battery life averages 35 hours, although this varies with usage. When the headphones are turned on, the battery-life indicator light will flash when there are approximately eight hours of battery life remaining. 

When a replacement is needed, use one AAA alkaline battery. 

Follow these steps to change the battery:

1. Tilt the top of the right earcup inward to gain access to the battery compartment
2. Open the battery compartment door by gently lifting the tab facing the upper end of the earcup
3. Insert the positive terminal of the battery into the compartment first
4. Close the compartment door by pressing gently on the end of the door tab until you feel a click. Do not try to close the battery compartment door by pressing at its center

You can use rechargeable batteries. If you want to use rechargeable batteries, NiMH (composed of nickel metal hydride) are recommended. They average half the life of alkaline batteries. The low battery-life indicator light is not set for such batteries, however, and will not be a reliable indicator of their remaining battery life. 

Please dispose of batteries properly following any local regulations. Do not incinerate.
