Playing a CD

On the remote, press CD to turn the system on and select CD as the source. The CD indicator on the display will illuminate. If a CD has been loaded, it will begin to play.

CD operations on the remote:

• Press PLAY to play or resume a CD

• Press PAUSE to temporarily stop a CD

• Press STOP to stop a playing CD

• Press SKIP-FWD to move to the next track

• Press SKIP-REV to move to the beginning of the current track

• After four seconds of play, press SKIP-REV twice to go to the previous track. In RANDOM mode, the CD will skip to previous track played

• Press NEXT DISC to play another disc. In PLAY mode, selects discs in order, 1 through 6, then back to 1; in RANDOM mode, randomly selects another disc. The music center skips empty disc slots

• Press and hold SKIP-REV to scan backwards through a CD

• Press and hold SKIP-FWD to scan forward through a CD

• Press RANDOM once to randomly play tracks on all discs

• Press RANDOM a second time to randomly play tracks on one CD

• Press STOP to cancel random play
