Setting video resolution

This feature lets you set the level of video resolution:

This option is only available when the media console is connected to the TV with an HDMI cable. If there is an HDMI cable connecting the media console to the TV, follow these steps:

Changing the setting to "Adjustable"

Setting the video resolution is a two part step. First change the setting to "Adjustable" by following these steps:

  1. Turn the TV on and select the correct video input to view the System menu

  2. On the remote, press System

  3. Press the Right arrow to select the "Video" icon

  4. Press the Down arrow until "Video Resolution" is highlighted

  5. Press the Right arrow to select the current option

  6. Use the Up arrow or Down arrow to change to the setting to "Adjustable"

  7. Press Exit to leave the System menu

Changing video resolution in the Settings menu

Change the Video Resolution setting in the Settings menu. To change the video resolution, follow these steps:

  1. Be sure the TV is on with the correct input selected

  2. Select a source other than FM, AM, CD or DVD

  3. On the remote, press Settings

  4. Press the Down arrow until "Video Resolution" is highlighted

  5. Press the Right arrow to highlight the current setting

  6. Use the Up arrow or Down arrow to select the desired setting:

    • 480/576p (lowest quality)

    • 720p

    • 1080i

    • 1080p (highest quality)

  7. Press Exit to leave the menu
